Snacks and Happiness

Sometimes if I'm too lazy to play a game with my Tama I will feed it snacks. I know that can affect what character it turns into right? Do you guys think its okay to just feed snacks to an adult since it's not going to evolve anymore and that does not effect the baby? I try not to do that with my teenagers but I sometimes do on accident. XD What do you guys do?

I feed snacks when I don't have time, such as when I'm in class or at work. Otherwise, I play the game with my Tamagotchi as much as possible. It keeps the weight off and this may sound weird, but I kind of feel bad for my pet if I keep feeding it snacks and neglecting to play with it.
