If you give your tamagotchi snacks does it count as bad care or no?

I don't think it counts as bad care. Generally, bad care is when you allow a certain number of care misses. A care miss is when they call for attention but you don't satisfy their needs within a certain period of time. On some models, you can get a care miss by over feeding, or by keeping them over-weight.
