As one of 46 million uninsured Americans, I got the H1N1 vaccine when it was offered free of charge on my college campus. The decision, for me, was easy. I live alone. I have no insurance. If I get sick, I will be missing a lot of work-- I can't afford to get sick. Period.
I go to Miami University, where 30% of our student body is expected to get H1N1 at some point this year. I simply can't take a chance with that sort of statistic.
