Tama-Go training help?

I havent used Tama's for a long time now, so I kind have forgotten how to do it, but when do you know to train the Tama-go? sometimes it calls me with the "!" over it, and I time out it then, is that right? Whenever i check her status bar when she calls me, the "!" goes away!

Is (s)he calling because they are out of happy/starving or are they calling for training? If it's the first,

refill what they need and they should stop calling.

If it's the latter, then no one's really sure if you need to praise or time out, you kind of need to guess...

If she calls me, she at the most has 2 happy hearts empty, never hungry hearts. its cuz i really want a lovelitchi
