My neice says that pausing the tamagotchi does not save the power but I think it does who is right??? :furawatchi:

 
umm...well...If you take the battery out of the tamagotchi, I think then you are saving the energy. So, no, pausing does not save the battery.

Removing it CAN save the power, but it will be annoying to put it in and out all the time.

and to answer your question: hardly,mostly no

In the Pause mode power using is about 50% or more less, but it's not in "not using energy at all" -mode like some other devices that have power saving feature.
