would this be considered a version 3? i just bought it here in Japan... it was released late december maybe...

it's alot more interactive and has more special characters and new interactive games as well as solo games, and the online market's pretty big and advanced... it's tough just getting through the big user's guide- as it's all in japanese, and there are so many choices... anyway, here's the link to Japan's Toys R Us Tama ad:

My first tama is the light blue colored shell, my friend got the white one. There's also a special double Xmas gift pack with matching green and red tamas.

Anyway, I'm new to Tama's but maybe this is what y'all are deliberating about?

edit: oh and we didn't think we would be able to find them as the first release/sales were apparently via online lottery system... but we found them in a few big toy shops. :mellow:

blythe_boyjp, That link does not have V3s. That is a ENTAMA! Those are rare. Even in Japan. :D

 
A few days ago I got a ToysRus letter thing and it had Tamagotchi Connection 3 for $19.95So my mum took me to ToysRus and we asked where they were and she said there wern't any in stock! But I know that there must be a few in some store somewhere...

The letter you got might be talking about a rip-off Tamagotchi, where it's meant to look like it, but isn't the same whatsoever.

Word to tamagotchis rock: Don't spam, just to increase your post count.

There might be V3's and V4's in Japan, but Bandai of Japan makes more Tamagotchis because that's their bestseller. America doesn't make that many versions of Tamagotchi.

You better just give it up now because I put the LINKto that website on there just showing all these ppl and they screamed at me for 3 weeks about how "ANY LOSER CAN COPY ANY PASTE THE LETTERS V3 ON THE FRONT OF A TAMA BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAAA" it is a useless battle to fight..... ;)

Poocashell- Sorry but that is a V3 SCAM. That was a V2 with V3 written on it with black marker. BUT, there is other types of V3 like tamagotchi. Those are Entamas,Chojinsei,Akai and Keitai.I have also seen something with Tama Station.If you or anyone is interrested on any tama metioned, there are topics on them on TamaTalk Here are some links for them:

i was reading a article on the web today from bandai saying they are releasing v3 connections in february!!!! I don't know if it true but they will be able to communicate with a website called tamatown.com, i'm hopping it's true since that would be cool as heck!

I saw something like that on Ebay. The funny thing is, tamatown.com doesn't exist.
