Tamagotchi iD Growth Rate

Does anyone know what the timeframe is for growth in Tamagotchi iD? I played with an original Tamagotchi and it took about 3 days to get to its teenage stage, and then on about day 6 or 7 it went into its adult stage. Its been only about 24 hours since I hatched my first Tamagotchi and it's already in its teen

stage. Is this normal?

Are you sure it was a teen? Which character was this?

egg + 1 minute = baby baby + 60 minutes = toddler

toddler + 24 hours = teen

teen + 24 hours = adult

adult + 2 sunrises = now can mate

adult + 72 hours = friend

Yes, the adult leaves within a few minutes of the baby's birth.
