Tamagotchi ID-L Not Caring

Since school's coming around soon I won't have time to take care of my Tamagotchi too well. I also don't like pausing my Tamagotchi either

But I was wondering if anyone knew an estimate of how long a Tama-ID L character can go without care(starting with full Food/Friendship levels) until it dies

Usually, it shows the ghost when you give it 12+ care misses. I've tried it out on my iD L and the 12 care misses work. If it does try to die or run away, press the clover icon.

I've gotten the ghost with only like 5 care misses once.. ^^;

Or, you could just pause it or set the time to sleeping time. It's what I do sometimes.
