so i've been meaning to buy a tamagotchi id for a while now and i was wondering if i were to buy it, would it be sent directly to my building or would i have to go pick it up at my local post office?

how do people involved in the mail know what to do with packages god i would make an awful mailman.

I think they're going to send it to you..

maybe you should post this on what's on your mind..

but i need help with something that's tamagotchi related.

It depends on the carrier (UPS, USPS, FedEx, etc.) the seller chooses. In my experience, the seller typically sends it to whatever address you indicate, especially if you use PayPal for items purchased from Ebay. Your PayPal account stores a specific shipping address, probably your home address, and when you pay the seller, they will see that address so that they will be able to send it to you. On occasion, it is possible to have to go to a shipping post office center to pick something up. I've had that happen to me for a human physiology book I've purchased. I think what happens is that the seller wants to really guarantee that the buyer properly receives the item so when they send it through the post office, they ask for a signature from the buyer upon arrival. The mailman would leave a note on your door with the location of the package and all you have to do is go there, present the note, and sign for it. People who work for the post office and other shipping companies just know what they're supposed to do. The have protocols they learn and follow, just like any other job.

I always need to pick up my tamas in a nearby store with a post office, I don't know about yours anyway...
