Tamagotchi Metaverse?

With Bandai's announcement of the Metaverse for a variety of their IPs, I think it's likely they'll make one around tamagotchi, unless Bandai Namco has nothing to do with the Digimon and Tamagotchi IPs.

It would be a lot less stinkier in VR, cleaning up after my odorless virtual pets doesn't make me retch like when I had to clean up after my mother's dogs.

Probably because she fed/feeds them cheap food. Idk the current state of their... messes... as I essentially disowned her a couple years ago. (^～^; )ゞ

Not gonna get into all that, but thankfully I have my vpets and their precious little non-smelly selves. Although with lickable screens now existing, I'm kinda scared for the future of Vpets as smell-o-vision might be in our future sooner than we'd like.

Personally I'm excited to see how they can work haptic feedback into VR. I might be down for Tamagotchi integration if I could feel like I was actually petting their cute little head!

I literally squealed in joy when I realized I could pet Mimitchi on my Pix. If I could pet and cuddle my vpets I'd plunk down that money faster than you could blink!

ME TOO honestly! It's a much more rewarding tactile experience than on the Smart, and the animation is sooo cute...!

Agreed! The smart's screen takes too long to acclimate to. I kept petting my pet when I wanted to do other things, and I don't wanna feel frustrated while hearts are flying everywhere
That said, while Bandai has used other platforms to host vpet games(android for the digimon gacha games, and Tamagotchi apps, the Tamagotchi Ds game, the Tamagotchi app on Android tamatown for PC to name a few) the servers of pretty much everything gets pulled after a few years. I'd be heartbroken to raise a small herd/flock of tamas in VR to only have them cruelly yanked away from me after 2-5 years. Them pulling the vintage android apps is what made me not want to play tamagotchi forever. They fostered additional trust issues within me.

I don't know have you seen the tama app. It's not good so they should keep it as the normal vpets.

Tamagotchi in VR isn't TOTALLY outlandish. There could, and I say that tentatively, be some cool developments if Tamagotchi were introduced to the Virtual Reality platform. As mothers have said, perhaps being able to hold/cradle your eggs, pet and hand feed your Tamas... I don't know. I'd definitely try it out.

Tamas in VR could be cool if they added a lot more featuers, like having a house you could decorate for them to live in, and play games with them, and raise a garden together, etc.
