There have been lots of confusion about V2 Tamagotchis' real names . Let's try and make the things clear.

One confusing thing is Bandai made-up Tamagotchi names. I think Bandai made-up names are terrible.

I think all the underlined ones are their right names. What do you think?

Puchitchi or Petitchi/Petitichi?

Shiropuchitchi or Shiropetitchi/Girl Petitchi?

Yu-Fotchi or UFOtchi?

Puroperatchi or Propellertchi?

Androtchi or Robotchi?

Batafuraitchi or Butterflytchi?

Urutchi or Wooltchi?

Furawatchi or Leaftchi/Flowertchi/Korotchi?

Pyonchitchi or Rabitchi?

Kusabanatchi/something else or Flowertchi?

Hatenatchi or Whaletchi?

Plus there's some minor spelling confusion:

Hitodetchi or Hotodetchi?

Kinakomotchi or Kinakamotchi?

Oniotchi, Onionitchi or Oniontchi?

Maskutchi, Maskitchi or Masktchi?

Takotchi or Tacotchi?

Cho Himetchi or Chohimetchi? Not sure of this one...

Ginjirotchi or Gunjirotchi?

Hiratchi or Hirotchi?

Zukitchi or Zuccitchi?

Could someone translate from Japanese sites? That would be so helpful.

Well, it is Oniontchi, not Oniotchi.

Also, Maskutchi and Masktchi are different characters. In Japanese Maskutchi is pronounced the same as Masktchi.

Masktchi is . Maskutchi is a P1/P2 character that looks a lot like a Tarakotchi with a mask on. It was tarakotchi level and you could get the secret character from it.

ChoHimetchi or Cho Himetchi. I'd say both are valid. It is a double name.

As for Zukitchi, I always called it that, but it may well be Zuccitchi. So both acceptions are valid.

Other characters like Urutchi/Wooltchi, Robotchi/Androtchi, Yu-fotchi/UFOtchi, Yungo-whatever/Young whatever, Furawatchi/Korotchi, Puchitchi/ petitchi are simply (lame) names BanDai US has selected to put on theri tamas. In that list, teh ones first were the original BanDai Japan names, but to make pronunciation easier, or make it more comprehensible, BanDai US has made some changes. In other cases like 'Hotodetchi' it just seems like a BanDai employer pressed the wrong key and no one checked the table... Or they dont know how to type. xD

I thought that "Masktchi" was a Bandai US made-up name and the P1/P2 Maskutchi and are different characters with the same name.

And I thought that Oniontchi was "Oniotchi" because it sounds kinda more Japanese name.

But there are still some unsolved cases, like Flowertchi. It might be Kusabanatchi (According to a dictionary) but I'm not sure.

In an other thread there was discussion about Robotchi/Androtchi. I didn't think that Androtchi is the US Bandai name.

I believe it is puchitchi, shiropuchitchi, yu-fotchi, puroperatchi, robotchi, batafuraitchi, urutchi, furawatchi, rabitchi, flowertchi, hatenatchi, hitodetchi, kinakomotchi, oniontchi, masktchi, takotchi, chohimetchi, ginjirotchi, hiratchi, zuccitchi.
