Tamagotchi Parents?

what is a tamagotchi parent? that is kind of confusing. i really have to know.Please post this if you have any idea.

it the parent of your tama when it reachs generation 2 whe you go to history and pick parents you get a code to your parent house in tamagotchi town(the house is hidden in park sorta) you get a code there that gives you a cell phone

plus whenyou in generation 3 you can pick grandparents get code and go to there hous nextdoor they give you a biycle both item are souvenir
