Tamagotchi v3 froze

I was playing with my Tamagotchi and the screen froze and Every button you pressed would take you to the time screen(my tama even got stuck on the Age and Weight Screen!)Is this because it's on low battery?

When the battery is low, a big X will appear on the screen, and you can't do anything, nor see anything except the X. It sounds like your Tamagotchi crashed. Have you tried pressing Reset (on the back) then selecting "Download"?

have u dropped it or something?

It stopped just a minute ago.All I did was get a pen and just before I pressed reset it started working again.
