tamagotchi v5 pets

i got my tamagotchi a couple of days ago, and i saw that you could get pets. i was wondering how you get pets.

You can't achieve pets, pets only appear in certain family animations on Tamagotchi Version 5.

You need the main family character with 100% bonding and you have to marry it to the correct partner.

this should help you. each pure family has a different pet but as Emak said they only appear in animations and on the stats right next to where it says which type of family you have. this shows you each pet for each pure family.
