tamagotchis are kinda lame..

I bought a tamagotchi recently and i am really annoyed at the fact that these little things could change shapes drastically. In normal keychain virtual pets, a hatchling turns into (for instance) a lil fish and then gets bigger and bigger ..etc In tamagotchi, the little critters change nearly entirely in shape from (lets say) a teenager to an adult (i am not sure about from adult to old).. That imo, makes me feel less attatched to the critter.... It feels as though i am taking care of an entirely diffferent tama..

I must say i have never thought that but i see wot u mean, i think that if tamas got into bigger characters which some do eg. a young mametchi evolves into a adult mametchi! i think it would be a bit boring coz u would no wot adult u got, on todays tamas u dont no wot adult u get so when my tama is evolving i cant help lookin at the screen!

I guess... But do child mametchis always evolve into adult mametchis? No, right?
