Yes, that was all there was. From the shattered souls, from Ayuka, from herself. Sakura wanted to speak, but she couldn't. Sakura wanted to walk to the very end of the river, she wanted to clear all her thoughts about this dreadful place, she wanted to forget everything, then she wanted to go home. Sakura wanted to return to her home, her owner. Her life was being torn, and every last thread she had left was being ripped from her own soul. She had wanted to go on a real adventure all her life, and she got what she wanted.
The souls seemed so quiet, as if respecting Sakura's grieving moment. Ayuka then suddenly said, "We'll get there, don't worry." Sakura looked up at Ayuka, and, despite the fact that she was always enthusiastic, tears rolled down her cheeks. Her tears were being blown by the wind, as if the tears belonged to the wind itself.
Thus, Sakura began her adventure.
