Asher watched after Anna as she walked away, not really sure what it was all about. He was pretty sure he'd been nice enough. In any case, he turned back to Morgan and smiled again. "Well, that could just be the reason for it then," he chuckled. At her second comment, he smirked slightly. "Do what? I'm not doing anything. It's actually you; it's your mind telling you that my eyes-- I'm, of course, assuming that's what you mean, I get it a lot-- are an unnatural colour and therefore you must find it one of three things: Mysterious, attractive or, in your case, and most commonly, scary," he said. "I'm not really sure how it is that you could get used to it. Generally, my friends are people who don't mind them from the very beginning-- which is why I have almost none. But that's okay, I'll leave if you can't stand looking at them." He was joking, of course, but he tried to make it seem as serious as possible, so as to see how she would react.
