an entama is a tamagotchi that was only released in Japan, it goes to school and it can get a job, it has it's own version of tamatown, like the v3 does, but there is a lot more stuff there because it has been open longer.

It's all in Japanese of course but people like Skillful Abbot have translated stuff and posted it on the web.
