TMGC+C screen froze!

I was playing in bed, with the sound off, and suddenly, when I went to the games screen, it froze! I couldn't hear the beep, so I couldn't tell what was wrong, and if I press the reset button, I am scared that I won't be able to tell which icon sys download! I don't know WHAT to do!!!!

Please help ASAP!
