Theres this guy I've like for 6 years. Yes. 6 years straight.

He asked me out today.

Problem is, I love this guy, and I'd say yes in a heartbeat. I don't want to miss my chance now that it's come.

BUT.

I have a gut-feeling that I'm too young. I'll be 13 in July, but still.

And my mom wouldn't let me if I asked her.

What should I do? Is 12 too young to date?
