Trouble with V4.5 Tamagotchi

Sometimes, my Toma starts to cry, and I don't know how to stop it. I give it a Time Out, but then it gets mad and the training level does not go up. Am I doing something wrong?

When your Tamagotchi is crying, you need to praise it, instead of giving it a time out.
