Turning beeping off?

I just got my new Tama today, and I have no idea how to turn the beeping off. It's a V3.

Could someone please help?

I believe you hold down the first and third buttons, then select the off option. It's been a while for me, but that should work if I remember right.

Yes, this is true. For me, I press and hold down the 'A' button(far left button) and then press the 'C' button(far right button). Then let go of both and you should see a display that says "Sound?" Yes or No. Select no to turn it off, do this again and select yes to turn the sound back on.
