It is hard. It gets faster and faster after each level.

This is what I do, and I almost finished the game with this method:

Memorize the order of characters. Try to see what number (out of five) your character is, and when the character you started off with (should be #1) appears, start counting. For example, if the character you want to pick is #3, then wait 'till the first character comes up, count to the third character, and there you go!

That method always works.

I have won it numorous times. It's easy once you know the pattern of the characters.

If you can memorize the characters you're half way there.

You could count but sometimes insted of the character showing up you get zig zag lines on the tv and if you hit the button on that screen you lose.

I think the best method once you know the characters is to look for them and be quick. It's the best way to win and avoid hitting it on a zig zag line screen.
