Unusually dark screen

Hey, so I finally managed to get a V6 Music Star at a decent price *yay* It is used and I noticed that its screen is particularly dark. Not as dark as when it sleeps obviously, but sometimes when I am in a room without artificial light or in winter when it’s darker outside, I find myself turning it to find an angle where I can see everything that happens on the screen without being too heavy on my eyes. I attached a picture and hope you can see what I mean.

Is this something common with some editions, versions or anything I can do about it? My other Connections‘ screens are much lighter.

The Music Star has a screen contrast setting. First you have to go to the clock, then hold C and press B. This will bring up the contrast slider which can be adjusted using the A and B buttons.
