I haven't received it yet but I will be getting it soona nd I wanna sort of researc h I guess you could say on how to take care of it so when I get it I won't be absolutely clueless hah...

soooo any help would be awesome :furawatchi:

p.s. has anyone else ordered off of yesasia.com? and how long did shipping usually take? I ordered mine 3 days ago already and I live in the U.S.

thanks in advance!

If you are already experienced with the EnTama, you should have no problems figuring out the UraTama. They're very similar.

If you are unfamiliar with EnTama, and can't read the Japanese UraTama instruction book, you can probably figure out how to use UraTama functions by looking at these English-language EnTama guides on the web here:

https://www.pixelmood.com/entama.htm

There are a few differences between the EnTama and the UraTama. The characters have changed. Different looks and different names. The "zoku" (groups) have changed, and the GUTS attributes have changed. So now instead of Intelligence, Style, and Kindness, there is Humor, Gorgeous, and Passion GUTS points. Along with this there are new teachers. The Cooking Ingredients have changed. Some of the rare items have changed.

The web site is different. UraTama characters go to UraTama town instead of Tamagotchi Town. Both UraTama and EnTama characters go to the same travel tour locations (Flower Hills, Pachi Forest, etc.). Both web sites are accessed through the e-tamago portal. The web address is in the instruction book.

UraTama can connect to EnTama via infrared. They can exchange gifts (which may get transformed in the process) and they can play games, but they can't mate together.

There is an UraTama character chart here: https://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g310/bin...actersnamed.png

I finally got my ura tama yesterday.

I started it up last night and pretty much figured the jist things out.. prob wasn't that hard cause i've had tama's ever since the originals in 96/97

now i just gotta get the hang of having everything in japanese hah

so far it's def my favorite tama.

does anyone ever have trouble actually getting into things at etamago?

when i try to go play games or, go into the market/actually anything my tama stops and doesn't enter..

i doubt there is anything i can do but this has been happening all day today.. gahhh

You may see three different problems, if you have a slow connection to the e-tamago server in Japan. When I am in Japan, I rarely see #1, and almost never see #2 or #3.

#1. While you are navigating between pages, you may see a blinking picture of Mametchi driving a blue race car. This screen means "please wait a moment". Usually, after a moment, either the new page will finish loading, or one of the below two problems will occur.

#2. If your tamagotchi character gets "stuck" between locations within e-tamago, hit your browser's Refresh button (or the F5 key if you're using Microsoft Internet Explorer). This will take you back to the login password entry page. Re-enter the same login password, then immediately go to whichever location you got stuck going to before.

#3. When you are navigating between pages, your progress may halt at a picture of Mametchi, Memetchi, and Kuchipatchi stuck in space between Earth and the Tamagotchi home planet. This screen occurs when there is a load error. There are two buttons above the Earth. The red button means "retry". The blue button means "stop". If you press stop, you will be taken back to the first page (before the login screen).
