Using 1 SD card with two DSi's.

Ok, so I read that the DSiWare games are not transferrable to another DSi, but you can save your games on your SD card. So does this mean if I were to give away my DSi and get another DSi console, could I just use the same SD card on the new DSi and still have all my downloads available?

I'm curious!
