V1 Ichigotchi as Nazotchi on V4

I was connecting my US V1 Ichigotchi to my US V4. Ichigotchi visited the V4 and appeared as Nazotchi. But according to the V4 character charts, Ichigotchi is available in the V4. Anyone know what happened?

Only Adults will not appear as Nazotchi if they're programmed in the toy.
