v4 or 4.5?

This is confusing because on the pack of the tamagotchi and the instruction it says clearly version 4! so I thought it was version 4 until it wouldn't accept any of secret shop codes and I've tried today code for 4.5 and guess what - it accepted it! so does that mean I have 4.5?? or 4?

I suspect you have a European Tamagotchi.

The V4.5 is called a V4plus in Europe. Some of the of V4plus have a ball antenna instead of a star.

yep that's the one! European version and it says on it Tamagotchi JinSeiPlus connexion version 4! Why did they have to make it so confusing? Mine's got star on antenna though

Yes well then Binary is correct. I have the same one as you (well probably not the same design) and i thought mine was a V4 too!
