V5 celebrity tama and v4?

I had just tried to connect my 2 of my tamas, a v5 celebrity, and a v4. They wont even connect!!!!! Can they even mate???? Please help!

Depressingly enough, i read the V5 instruction manual,and no,you cannot even connect the V5 with ANY prior versions,and they cannot mate because of that >.>

Me too, i mean, why should one version of tamagotchi not even connect with another version? I mean it's all from the same general brand of tamas.

I suppose the fact that you cannot name the individual characters,and having 3 charries,would be an overload. It's still no excuse in my eyes. >.>
