V5 not accepting codes?

I just got my V5 yesterday, and after attempting to enter both special codes and logout codes, nothing happens. It just makes the "You can't do that!" noise.

The codes I'm trying are confirmed codes from this site, too, and for the correct version, and for the correct continent/area, and such.

Is there something I have to do/unlock before it will let me enter codes?

I tried looking through the FAQ and searching the site, but I couldn't find anything.

Help?

You must of made a little mistake.

You could of been putting the special codes in logout and logout in special.

Are they items?

What stage are your tamagotchis at (eg. baby, toddler, teen etc.)

Items, mostly. It's only the codes from online, the logout codes I actually got from Tamatown worked fine.

And they're todlers.

I've had the exact same problem. I can't input the code from the cd after playing the game.

Sorry, I think your tamagotchi has a glitch

some times it does deppend what what tamagotchi is e.g. mematchi, mamatchi, furawatchi etc
