version 3's can't see each other

Kids both have version threes but neither can see each other. They go to 'stand by' then eventually drop back to th main screen.

Both are recent;y hatched... do they have to be a particular age to connect?

They have to be at least to the toddler stage in order to connect. If they are, then hold them very close together and make sure to press the button at the same time. I reccomend having someone else do the other one for you.

Press button ( B ) when you get to the standby screen. Also make sure you are not in direct sunlight because that will also effect the connection.
