Your battery must be low. The "Wait" appears when you reset and it will also beep, which could probably happen if your battery is low also. I would suggest getting a new battery.

Exactly. If that appears on screen, it means you need a new battery.

When shopping for one, try to find a CR2032 battery. It might say something like, "good for hearing aids" or small electronics. That's the one you have to buy.
