They start preschool when they are toddlers, you should get a [!] in the mail, when they are teens they start at about age 2, mine did at least.

Hmm.. you should have gotten [!] already for your tamagotchi to start preschool.. You may have, but it may have just said "Away". When the away sign pops up, press the 'B' button (middle button). Try going to Work. You may go to preschool
