i know this seems sort of stupid, but how do u get those pictures on the side of your post?

do you mean th avatars? you go to settings (see top of screen, middle-right) and select 'Edit Avatar' brouse through the galleries till you find one you like

]Another way is by finding a picture you like (It does not neccesarilly have to be a Tamagotchi picture) Then save the picture. Go to TamaTalk, and click your username at the top. Under the place where the avatr would go, it says Avatar Options. Click it. Then, click the button that says 'Browse'. A window will open up and you will see all the pictures (Or the picture) you saved. Click the one you just saved, then click 'Open'. The window will close. Now, click 'Update Avatar'. Wait, and don't click anything while it transfers you. Done.
