Its not only in the US. Its a sweetbread, made from mushed bananas and a few other things. Its quite nice, but is definitaly an occasional treat. You should look up a recipe.

Are you guys serious? Banana bread is just bread with bananas in it. I guess people dont eat it much in other places (i live in the U.S.). Im not a huge fan of it.

When I make banana bread, I use wet bananas, put them in a blender, then mix it with break/ cake making, and chocolate chips. Yuummmmmmeeerrrzzz.
