no,they can be diff ages but only when they r both 5,6,7,or 8 but like one could be 6 and the other 7 but only if they r in the breeding ages (which i already listed)

5-10 is the breeding age, they turn old at age 11. It doesn't matter if the other one is 5 and the other one is 10.
