What age does your tama have to be to use items?

Have an age one young Mamechi and for items I have a bow, wings, and an umbrella. Does my tama have to be older? Or do I have to wait until it plays by itself?

To use most items (bows, wings, umbrellas, boots, ect.), your tamagotchi must be an adult. ^_^ There are the exceptions of items like the plant, shovel, ect.

Some items, like the ones you specified can only be used by adult and old timer Tamagotchi characters. As Tamagirl_Desy said, there are a few exceptions like items that can give you prizes and other items like the ball, clone (the clone on V4) and some music playing items can be used by younger Tamagotchi teens, tots, and babies.

Many items have the requirement of your tamagotchi being an adult. Some items, have the exception for any age to use that particular item
