im new... i was never too good with a tamagotchi but im determind for this one to stay alive for a long time considering its in memorial of my dead guenia pig

Baby= 5lb. This is always the base weight of a baby tama.

 

Toddler= 10lb. Always base weight of toddler.

 

Teenager= The base weight of a teen depends on the character the weight is normally 15lb but can sometimes be 20lb.

 

Adult= Mostly 30lb but can be 20lb.

Yes, that is what the base weight is usually for tamagotchis. ^ And the base weight is the lowest weight your tamagotchi can go to. So when you play games and all of a sudden your tamagotchis doesn't want to, that is because you have hit it's base weight and you can't go under it.
