What kind of buttons do the first Tamagotchi have?

I was just wondering what kind of buttons do the Tamagotchi p1 through Osu/Mesu have?

Because I know that there are rubber buttons, but then then arent there those harder, smooth plastic buttons?

The ancestor buttons are basically like the ones that are produced now.

The only hard buttons are the Tamagotch Color and a few odd pets.

As Mothra said, Tamagotchi Plus Colors have hard metal-capped buttons.

But ancestor Tamas had slghtly different buttons to Connections.

Ancestors had squishy rubber buttons, and connections have buttons that sort of pop when you press them.

They are also very round, and as they get older, they can get harder to press.

So, they are basically the same, but kinda squishy and slightly rounder?

Because I am impatiently waiting for my Angelgotchi to arrive, and I am EXTREMELY picky about Tamagotchi buttons (dont get me started about the Music Star... Ugh) and the buttons look so tiny in the pictures! And they dont seem as stuck-out as the connection's buttons. So I was kinda freaking out thinking that I was going to break the buttons off on accident or something awful like that would happen... D:
