The TMGC+C (Tamagotchi Plus Color) is a Japanese-language model Tamagotchi, released in Japan in November 2008. It features a high resolution color screen.

The "color" in the title refers to its color screen.

The Tamagotchi Color was once given out randomly to a lucky few winners of the Tamagotchi Color Survey Drawing earlier this year...I would have entered, but how do you explain getting a Japanese virtual pet in the mail to your parents?

TMGC stands for Tamagotchi Colour, which is a Tamagotchi in full colour, not like all the other Tamagotchi's, which are in black and white.

It has only been released in Japan, and there are no plans for releasing it anywhere else.

Yeah. Bandai probably says 'might' just to keep their options open. If they actually release an english color tam any time soon, I'll eat it.

TMGC just stands for Tamagotchi period. My Uratama has beads with those letters. TMGC+Color is the color Tama.
