Theres no telling what they'll become it depends on what training items your giving them, Im pretty sure that to get Hatsugatchi you need to give them intelligent items I've gotten him before by doing that.

To get Hatugatchi you need to have high bonding points before you become adults and always choose the first icon for training which are the intellectual items. Make sure they never get too hungry and before you know it you will have a Hatugatchi! I had that character before, but then I restarted hope I helped!
