I have heard of some tamas resetting themselves... where were you keeping it - if it was in a purse or school bag, for instance, could something have pushed against the buttons to make it reset?
Were you able to choose "DOWNLOAD" from the RESET menu?
A tama resetting itself it not really normal, but sometimes it happens

I dont think that a tamagotchi can reset itself if it could that would be crazy but I dont think that that could happen

Weird. I have never heard about Tamas resetting themselves! But who am i to say. Maybe someone or something pushed it.
