I gave my adult a love potion and kept connecting them, letting them give eichother presents, but even when they both had 4 smile's for eichother, nothing happend?

On connections, they become seniors when they turn 11 years old. Then the matchmaker will no longer show up. She will when your tama is age 7-10.
