when is it gonna get older?i need help!

1st one is my tama is 3 years old and I keep it on pause alot but it's been a todler for a couple of days and it's still not going into a teen.WHY? AND HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO TRANSFER? 2ND IS HOW DO YOU GET THE LETTERS TO GET IN A DIFFRENT COLOR?

Pausing slows down the growth process, don't pause it and be patient . If you want to change colors here's a example:
