I went to Toys R Us looking for a tamagotchi a couple weeks ago. (And I got one, yay!!) Anyway, I went to the electronics section because I thought it would be there (there were other virtual pets in there) but they weren't. For some reason, they had put the tamagotchi in the girls section with the PixelChicks toys.
I'm a girl, but I don't think they should do stuff like that...it might discourage a boy from buying one or prevent a parent getting them for their son because they don't want him to play with girl toys. I don't know if it's just the Toys R Us here or not, but they need to learn that tamagotchis are for everyone, not just girls.
