Don't punish! He won't play when his weight is minimum. (10lb-12lb)

Minimun weights:

Babies: 5lb-7lb

Toddlers: 10lb-12lb

Teens: 15lb-17lb or 20lb-22lb

Adults: 20lb-22lb or 30lb-32lb

Yep, just feed him. The number of times you can play a game all revolves around the weight of your tamagotchi. That way, if he gets too fat, you can work off the weight. Same as if you are under, which is what happened with yours.
