Wrong colour?

i have just bought a pink tamagotchi but i dont want a pink one i wanted a black one. i have tried to exchange this but failed.do you have any suggestion for me.

i bought it at argos but they wont take it back.i was going to paint it but m afraid that it may get into the system. alex
