I actually got into them back when they first came out. Back when Tamagotchis were the expensive name brand and there were hundreds of cheap knockoffs. Electronic toys used to be a HUGE thing when I was still in grade school. Now, I'm back into them after not picking one up in over 6 years!

My first Tamagotchi was a Version 1. I even remember the day I got it! It was a Saturday, here's what happened:

It was Friday, and I went around my friend's house for a sleepover. She had a Version 1, and I couldn't stop playing it. The next day, I got one, and I was sooo happy!
