i don't think the training bars has got something to do with getting a mametchi or mimitchi (which are probably the best tama characters). i kept my tama asleep almost 24hrs a day and because of that his training was only about 3 bars and still i got a mametchi.

i did this on my other tama and i got a mametchi. his discipline was only 4 bars.

both of my two tamagotchis got a chocolate from the shop.

i don't know bout you guys but when i put my tama close to my ear i hear a very faint beeping that keeps going on and on and never stops. does this happen to your tama too?

i wish there would be weather variation on the new tama. like there would be a temperature monitor and if the temp gets exceedingly cold or hot u have to turn on either an air-conditioner or a heater otherwise the tama would get sick. and then you have to feed it cold drinks on summer and warm...

err... about the birthday. i think it's NOT supposed to be the tama's birthday but YOUR birthday, right? my manual says "Set the date correctly, your tama might celebrate your birthday!". so it's the owner's birthday that the tama is celebrating, not his.

my mametchi didn't greet me happy halloween. :) i saw in some website that the special occasions are different for australian/asian and american/european versions. my tama is australian/asian version. for example christmas is only for american/european since most asian countries are not...

i'd also like a color screen, backlight, and vibrating alert feature but these will surely require more powerful batteries!

i think ur pet has to be overweight for him to win in bump. i made my mametchi 99lbs and he always wins in bump even when the push meter is empty.
