Sakura shook her head. "No, I'm fine."

Mello smirked. "You only tell me to shut up when I'm right about something and you don't want me to be."

L tilted his head, then turned back to his tower and rested his chin on his knees.

"No, I tell you to shut up when you're being an idiot," Matt said.

Sakura watched L, waiting to see if he would place another sugar cube on the tower.

"All lies." Mello replied, flopping down on the bed beside Matt.

L simply sat and stared at his sugar tower, shifting in his seat slightly.

"Let me guess," Matt said, trying to change the subject quickly. "You're trying to pull every guy in the club by looking like that."

Sakura turned to her computer, looking at L out of the corner of her eye.

Mello sighed. "Oh, but of course, Matt."

L tilted his head, still staring at his tower, then reached out and flicked it, making the sugar cubes fly everywhere.

"Is that what you wanted to do, then?" Matt said, smirking. "Look like a girl so the guys go for you?"

Sakura sighed, crossing her arms. "You wrecked your little tower."

Mello looked over at Matt. "Look who's f*****g talking."

L nodded. "I didn't need it." He lifted his head up and rested his hands on his knees.

"Uh, Mello," Matt said, looking over. "Look at your hair, and your clothes."

 

[nokotchi]

Sakura nodded, bringing her knees to her chest in her chair and slipping her feet under herself, imitating L shakily.

Mello looked down at his outfit and ruffled a hand through his hair. "A girl would NOT look like this! ... Anyways, if I look like a girl, then I guess all the girls that come running to me are lesbians or something."

Near heard Mello's last statement and shouted

"GOT THAT RIGHT!" Near then shouted "WAIT GIRLS ACTUALLY APPROACH YOU?!"

L stared at Sakura. "If I pulled the chain now, you'd fall," he noted, chewing on his thumb.

"Face it, Mello," Matt said, grinning. "You just look like a girl."

Sakura frowned, still struggling to balance. "So, you'd actually do that and make me fall?"

Mello ignored Near and frowned at Matt. "Gee, thanks. 'Best friend'"

"I didn't say that I would," L muttered, his voice muffled by his thumb. "But if it woud make me win..."

"You're the one who called me a gamer faggot," Matt said, rolling his eyes

Sakura pouted, finally getting her balance. "It wouldn't make you win... It's just tick me off."

Mello scoffed. "Do you have any clue how many names you've called me??"

L tilted his head, staring at Sakura. "Would you hit me if I did it?"

"All because you insulted me first," Matt said, prodding Mello.

Sakura shook her head. "No, I wouldn't hit you. I'd just be upset with you."

Mello scowled. "Your first words to me were 'You look like a girl.'"

"But I wouldn't win?" L tilted his head further, chewing his thumb.

"You did look like a girl," Matt said, grinning. "Besides, you told me that my goggles looked weird and that I should put my Gameboy down."

Sakura shook her head once more. "No, you wouldn't."

Mello smirked. "Your goggles are pretty weird, you have to admit."

L looked down at the chain, then picked it up and started to wrap it around his finger.

"No they're not," Matt said, shaking his head.

Sakura turned back to her computer, trying to do her best L impression.

Mello nodded. "Yes they are."
